Software Systems Developed

  • Hydrodynamics Command Language February 2017
Dr. Emerson designed a software package that is intended for use by combustion system engineers to design the fluid dynamics of their systems.  Emerson wrote the algorithms and the initial code for this tool, and worked directly with the industry sponsor to validate it.
  • Flame Response Sensitivity Tool (FRST) May 2016
Dr. Emerson wrote a software tool to help engineers find design changes that can mitigate the screech problem in thrust augmentors.  The FRST was vetted and validated using experimental data during a series of SBIR projects.
