The early identification of existing or impending gas turbine faults is an important part of minimizing unplanned outages and maintaining peak health and performance. This is especially true for monitoring and diagnostic centers responsible for an entire fleet of gas turbines.
We have in-depth experience using physics based analytics to supplement measured data to develop effective fault signatures. This includes the detection of bad sensors that may cause erroneous alarms. Fault signatures can then be used by themselves or in conjunction with existing APRs (advanced pattern recognition) software to let operators know when there's a problem that needs their attention.
